I'm cheap. Formule 1 is the only place I can afford to stay,
but if I had more money, I'd probably stick with them.
(Maybe I'd move on up to an Etap.)
In Paris, for us, the St. Denis location is the best.
Before they made a webpage with online reservations
my friend, Veronique,
helped me call the St-Denis Formule 1 (11 av Lénine 93200)
to make reservations for our 1999 trip. Everyone should have a Veronique. ESPECIALLY when they have to call Paris from the States!
Here's the scoop:
011 [international call code] + 33 [France code] + 1 [Paris code?] + 48 [Paris code?] + [6-digit number].
So to call the St-Denis Formule 1/Formulae 1/Formula 1
one would dial 011 33 1 48 274108

Envelope of ContactJack! Nancy! The e-mail addy didn't work! We have Formula 1 & Etap brochures for you!

Recipes I must look up and try: Aigo Boulido; Sauce Vinaigrette; Sous Fassum; Zucchini Farcies; Ratatouille; Pommes tarte.

Cole Porter -- from "Can-Can":
Every time I look down on this timeless town
whether blue or gray be her skies.
Whether loud be her cheers or soft be her tears,
more and more do I realize:

I love Paris in the springtime.
I love Paris in the fall.
I love Paris in the winter when it drizzles,
I love Paris in the summer when it sizzles.

I love Paris every moment,
every moment of the year.
I love Paris, why, oh why do I love Paris?
Because my Love is near.
